The Gibson House is a private, non-profit house museum in Boston's historic Back Bay neighborhood. Four floors of the house are on the tour; there is no elevator.

The Gibson House Museum is located at 137 Beacon Street between Arlington and Berkeley Streets, convenient to both the Arlington Street subway stop on the Green Line and the Charles Street and Park Street subway stops on the Red Line.

We are open year-round. Visits are by guided tour only, Wednesday - Sunday. Tours begin promptly at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.. Reservations are not necessary for groups of fewer than 12. Group tours, at these times or others, may be arranged in advance by calling us at 617-267-6338 or e-mailing info@thegibsonhouse.org. Please request group tours at least two weeks in advance.

Admission: $9 (Students & Seniors (62+), $6; children (under 12), $3). Cash or check only; we cannot accept credit cards.

The Museum is closed New Year's Day, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. In case of inclement weather, please call 617-267-6338; the main voice message will be changed if the museum is closed.
